What happens if the item I ordered is no longer available?
Since most of our products are one-of-a-kind, we remove items that have been sold as soon as possible. Therefore, it would be rare for your selection to be unavailable. In the event duplicate orders are received they will be filled on a first-come-first served basis. We would then offer to duplicate, as closely as possible, the item for the other person. Back to Top
Why was I charged sales tax on my purchase?
Maine State tax is applied to an item because we conduct our business and ship our products from Maine. Back to Top

Shipping charges vary according to product weight and size. Because the US Postal Service is the most convenient for us, they are our shipper of choice and we establish our charges based on weight. Insurance is available for an additional charge on any shipment over $50.Back to Top
What does the term "hand-tied" mean?
We "tie" the quilt's layers together using crochet cotton tied in a square knot, instead of handquilting to keep the layers together. Tying is much faster and allows us to keep the prices of our quilts more affordable.Back to Top
Why don't you have your quilts listed as "queen" or "full", instead of in inches?
We measure our quilts in inches because we've found that people are looking for a quilt to fit their bed in a certain way. A queen size bed is 60" across the top but mattress depths vary considerably. For example, the mattress on my queen size bed is 9" deep so I want my quilt to be 78" wide. However, the queen bed in my motorhome has a mattress that is only 5" thick so a quilt 70" wide would work. If you have any questions about how best to measure your bed, contact us!Back to Top
